International Rental News published its rankings of the 100 largest rental companies in the world. Boels Rental jumped into 8th position making the company the biggest riser of all.
Last year Boels took the 22nd position with annual turnover of 579 million euros. Early 2020 Boels acquired its Finnish industry partner Cramo, and consequently grew to a company with more than 750 depots in 17 European countries. Turnover for this year is estimated at close to 1.3 billion euros which explains the leap into the top 10.
Boels Rental remains the undisputed number 1 rental company in the Benelux. Since its foundation in 1977, the family business has been one of the fastest growing rental companies, doubling its turnover every five years. This increase can be attributed to both organic growth and several strategic acquisitions.
