Pedro Torres, CEO of Riwal, will step down from his position as of January 1st 2025. After a transition period, he will leave the company as of April 1st 2025.
Under his leadership Riwal became one of the 15 largest players worldwide in the Access industry. In the period following the acquisition by Boels Rental in March 2024, Torres has guided the company through crucial changes, preserving Riwal’s legacy while supporting its future growth as a part of Boels.
“Pedro is an outstanding leader, serving the company with remarkable commitment and unwavering passion. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the history of Riwal”, says Pierre Boels, CEO Boels Rental. Lars Reehorst, who has worked at Riwal for 10 years and is currently leading the Special Rental division at Boels, will take over from Torres, and will officially assume the position of Managing Director Riwal and Manlift as of 2025.
Pedro Torres: “Leading Riwal has been both a privilege and an honor. I am confident that the company is in good hands now and it is with pride that I look back upon my time at Riwal.”
