Boels Rental has announced the acquisition of Norwegian company BAS Maskinutleie making Nordic subsidiary Cramo one of the leading rental companies in Norway. Pierre Boels, CEO of Boels Rental explains: “A leading market position is important to increase resilience and to leverage future growth. It is our aim to have a top-3 position in all our markets.”
BAS Maskinutleie is a Norwegian rental company. Established in 2008 as part of Backe, BAS Maskinutleie serves the construction market from eight geographically spread locations. BAS Maskinutleie is known for its wide range of equipment, extensive rental services and comprehensive expertise. CEO for Backe, Eirik Gjelsvik, is pleased with the acquisition process and perspectives: “Both companies complement each other well. As part of Cramo, BAS Maskinutleie will benefit from the resilience and long-term growth strategy of its new owner.”
Cramo, part of Boels Rental, has leading market positions across Scandinavia. This acquisition is an important step for Cramo Norway.
