Cramo has been informed that personal data from current and former employees has been spread online following a cyberattack against Miljödata, our external HR service provider. We regret this situation and want to provide clarity and guidance.
Be alert to fraud attempts
Fraudsters may pretend to represent Cramo or other trusted organisations. They may reach out by email, phone, SMS, or messaging apps. Please keep the following in mind:
-
Be cautious of unexpected contacts.
-
If in doubt, hang up and call back using an official number.
-
Never use Bank-ID unless you initiated the contact yourself.
-
Do not click unknown links or open suspicious attachments.
Possible signs of identity theft
Watch out for unusual activity such as:
-
Credit checks you do not recognise
-
Invoices or goods you did not order
-
Mail delivery problems or address changes you did not request
-
Unknown transactions on your bank account
-
Unexpected letters from banks or authorities
If you suspect identity theft or misuse of your data
If you suspect your personal data is being misused, report it to the police immediately.
Contact a credit reporting agency (e.g. UC, Creditsafe, Syna) to set up a fraud alert. Please note: this can only be done if fraud is already suspected, not as a preventive measure.
