Sittard, 16 september – Cramo, the leading rental company in Scandinavian & Baltic countries, announces the beginning of a multi-year brand transition to Boels Rental. Cramo already became part of the Boels Group in 2020, creating one of the largest equipment rental companies in Europe. Building upon the strengths and partnership of Cramo created in it’s 73 years of heritage, the transition to Boels Rental is opening the door to more.
One brand, built on a strong foundation
Cramo’s strong foundations date back to 1953, with the Cramo brand taking shape in 1969 through the merger of a Finnish and Swedish rental company. Decades of growth and expansion established Cramo as a leading rental company in Northern Europe. This leading position was further strengthened by the acquisition by Boels in 2020.
Cramo and Boels share a strong and complementary DNA, with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality rental solutions. Both companies have increasingly benefited from their complementary strengths and expertise over the years. The next step is a gradual transition of the Cramo brand to Boels Rental, to be completed across all Nordic and Baltic countries by 2030.
Welcome to more
From September 2026, the Cramo brand will gradually transition to Boels Rental. Both brands will initially remain visible side by side, while the familiar Boels orange becomes increasingly prominent across locations, equipment, vehicles and communications. The transition will be carefully managed to ensure continuity for customers, employees and partners.

Pierre Boels, CEO of Boels Rental group explains:
“Bringing Cramo and Boels together under one brand is a natural next step. It combines Cramo’s strong local presence and customer relationships with the scale, expertise and capabilities of Boels Rental. For our customers, that means more equipment, more specialty solutions and more expertise without losing the personal touch they know. Simply put: one brand opens the door to more!”
