Safety is never ‘finished’. Striving for zero accidents may be ambitious, but Boels Rental believes it is achievable through constant commitment, awareness and cooperation. The ultimate goal is a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. After all, health and safety are the foundation for a successful and sustainable future.
Sven Janssen, Health & Safety Manager:
“Boels borrows people from their homes. Our motto is for everyone to go back home healthy.”
A safe and healthy workplace
A safe and healthy work environment starts with identifying and recognising the risks and taking appropriate preventive measures. That’s why health and safety are embedded in the business strategy of Boels. To prevent accidents, we continuously invest in personal protective equipment, staff training, procedures, as well as in equipment that meets the highest safety standards. With new technologies emerging, there are also new risks around every corner. All the more reason to continuously improve.
Safety and health are embedded in everything we do.
Boels Safety Week
To strengthen its safety culture, Boels has Life-Saving Rules in place. By following these six behaviour rules at work, we can prevent occupational accidents. Boels organises the Safety Week every year, just ahead of the annual World Day for Safety and Health at Work that takes place on 28 April. During the Safety Week, the six rules are given extra attention. Everything is aimed at creating a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Safe rental
The commitment of Boels on safety and health is also noticed by customers and partners. Working safely is seen as a key component of renting out equipment with an emphasis on safety during every step. This contributes not only to employee safety, but also to customer safety.
Safety has nothing to do with luck, it’s a matter of awareness. The point is that we want to rent out safely and also actively inform our customers who will be working with the equipment.
