At the beginning of this year, the Dutch company Boels Rental took over the Scandinavian company Cramo. With this acquisition, Boels has become one of Poland’s largest players in the rental market.
Since then, intensive work on the integration of the two companies has been conducted, with the first visible effects being a change in the “club colours” for the Cramo branches and as from 5th of January 2021 they will start to operate under the name Boels Polska.
Twenty-nine branches
In the Scandinavian and Baltic countries, Cramo will retain its current name, while in Poland, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic the company will operate under the name Boels. There are currently 29 branches of Boels in Poland; they are located throughout the country, allowing the company to reach all customers effectively. As a result, Boels will become the largest rental company in Poland.
A huge fleet of machines and equipment
In practice, the integration means that the combined fleet will have 650,000 rental items. Cramo’s heavy equipment rental portfolio will perfectly complement the wide range of medium and smaller machines offered by Boels.
“Purchasing Cramo allows us to provide even better services to our customers,” said Gregor Wowrzyk , Country Manager Poland. “We will have more equipment, more branches, more employees. The wide range of products we offer means that our customers will get more, faster and more efficiently and, in addition, in one place. All their needs will be met by one and the same supplier.”
The future
Boels continuous to invest more in machines and equipment. The company boasts a state-of-the-art offer in the rental market and intends to maintain this advantage. Boels also understands the importance of such innovations as digitisation and development of green, emission-free solutions. Hiring equipment instead of buying it is one such “green” solution that fits perfectly with today’s economy based on sharing.
